Version 0.3.13 Hotfix

Hello again,

I had more free time this evening than I expected, so I put together this small hotfix to address some of the issues reported in v0.3.12. The next update to be released after this will be v0.4, which I'll get to you as soon as I possibly can!


As always, you can also build these releases yourself from the public github's dev branch (which is always kept up to date with the very latest version):

v0.3.13 Patch Notes

  • Contributors:
    • Dragon breath attack is now unlocked by the character's race being identified as 'dragon', not by having a dragon torso. (by DSG)
      Fixed issue with the dragon subspecies 'Coatl' not being detected correctly. (by Stadler)
      Fixed bug where feral characters would spawn with crotch-boobs, even if crotch-boob row count was defined as 0. (by Stadler)
  • Engine/Modding:
    • Added parser hooks to penetration, orifice, and tongue modifiers (using prefixes 'PENETRATION_MODIFIER_', 'ORIFICE_MODIFIER_', and 'TONGUE_MODIFIER_' respectively).
      Added support in racialBody xml files for setting 'breastCrotchType' to NONE for races you want to never spawn with crotch-boobs.
  • Other:
    • Characters no longer have their cum & girlcum automatically gain the 'musky' modifier when changing into a non-bipedal leg configuration. (Centaurs still have this modifier by default.)
      Sharks and all dragon subspecies will no longer spawn with crotch-boobs.
      Removed restrictive minimum and maximum limitations for insect wing size.
      Ralph no longer sells Impish Brew (you can still buy it from Roxy).
  • Bugs:
    • Racial food items which have more than one torso type associated with them now have access to those torso types in the enchantment menu.
      Fixed dragon's 'Breath weapon' special attack dealing 0 damage.
      Fixed some minor issues with NPCs spawned as a dragon subspecies having the odd part assigned incorrectly.
      Fixed bug where the penis slot would not accept any clothing if a character lacked a penis, causing strapons to be impossible to equip.

    Version 0.3.12 Release

    Hello again,

    Since v0.3.10's release, I've been working on getting the bugs and other issues that were present in that update fixed, so I'm able to release this more stable version of 0.3.12 to you today.

    Although I really wanted to get some content added for this update, I simply ran out of time in which to do so, and so I'm going to have to once again say that I'll get the Fields content added for the next update. I'm sorry about how long it's taking me to get to that, but with this update now done, there's really very little left that's going to stop me from getting started on that long-awaited version of 0.4.

    This update contains a lot of contributed code submitted by several people via github, so I owe them my thanks for helping to make this update a lot larger and smoother than it would otherwise have been. While a lot of these contributions are importantly addressing bugs and other issues, there has also been some new content added in the form of a new poncho clothing item by NoStepOnSnek, as well as a huge amount of work done by DSG to add 7 new races (which you can see more about in the patch notes below). There's likely to be some other contributors' race mods added to the base game in the next update as well (I unfortunately ran out of time tonight in which to merge them).

    I'm going to be away for the next few days, but when I get back, I'll get started on the Fields content and get v0.4 out to you as soon as I possibly can. Thank you all once again for your feedback and support, and whether you celebrate it or not, I wish you a very happy Yule! I'll most likely be back with at least a status update before the New Year, but if I end up getting sidetracked, then I'll say Happy New Year to you now as well!

  • DSG's race contributions:
    • Added 7 new races: Sharks, Bears, Dragons, Ferrets, Gryphons, Otters, and Raccoons.
      Added 1 subspecies for each of these new races, except for the dragon race, which has the subspecies: Coatl, Ryu, Dragon, Drake, and Wyvern.
      Added 18 new consumable items, consisting of a drink (attribute) & food item (transformative) for each of the 7 new races, with dragons having an extra 2 variants of their drink item and 2 extra variants of their food item.
      Added 12 new colours related to the new races added.
      Added 7 new combat moves for the new races: 'Charging Bite' (sharks), 'Five Claw Strike' (bears), 'Breath Weapon' (dragons), 'War Dance' (ferrets), 'Hunting Call' (gryphons), 'Tail Slap' (otters), and 'Cornered Beast' (raccoons).
  • Engine/Modding:
    • Made some slight improvements to the documentation of the xml files related to race modding.
      Added support for wing types to have a defined minimum and maximum size (see the 'res/mods/innoxia/race/hyena/unused_bodyParts/wing.xml' for the commented example).
      Added comments for the imageName elements in 'res/mods/innoxia/items/items/race/hyena_bone_crunchers.xml'.
      Choosing to not define any covering modifiers or patterns in coveringType mods is now correctly handled without throwing background errors.
      Leaving the 'backgroundName' element empty or not including it in subspecies xml mod files is now correctly handled and uses the default race background (as was implied it should in the comments).
      Added elements in the 'racialBody.xml' file for defining male and female hip sizes ('maleHipSize' and 'femaleHipSize').
      Added parsing hook to BodyPartTag (using the prefix 'BODY_PART_TAG_').
      Added ColourTags, which can be added to modded colours to have them be automatically added to the game's covering colour lists.
      Added setCovering() to Body class to make the setting of coverings easier in race mods. (See 'applySubspeciesChanges' element in lion.xml for an example on this being used.)
      You can now leave the half-demon name elements empty in subspecies xml files (in which case the game will automatically generate a generic half-demon name for your subspecies).
      Added support for a 'displaySize' attribute to the 'iconName' element in subspecies xml files, allowing you to define the resizing percentage of your icon image.
      Added 'coveringIconColour' element for modded colours, allowing you to define the colour to use a different colour for covering icons than its usual colour for text.
  • Gameplay:
    • Added a separate variant of the aquatic status effects for characters of an aquatic race who have the leg configuration 'TAIL'.
      Added ability to recolour cum, girlcum, and milk in the self-TF menu.
      Minimum size for a clitoris to be used as a psuedo-penis has been increased from 1cm to 5cm.
      Split cat-morph race into cat-morph and panther-morph. Removed cat-morph's 'panther face' TF option. Tigers, lions, leopards, and snow leopards are now classed as panther-morphs.
      If a character has the cat-morph's 'panther face', their cat-morph body parts will be converted into panther-morph parts when loading into this version.
      Added 'Deep Roar' and 'Panther's Delight' consumable items for the new panther-morph race.
  • Other:
    • Improved sorting of subspecies in several menus.
      Updated spawn locations of all subspecies.
      Altered the names of the reindeer and centaur books.
      Added some more global NPC transformation debug buttons (in Misc. category).
      Added labourer outfits, so reindeer overseers will no longer spawn with completely random outfits.
      Slightly adjusted the default colours of the leather belt.
      Diamond necklaces will no longer spawn as a random item in Dominion's alleyways, canal tiles, or in the crates in the Supplier Depot.
      Characters with the TAIL_LONG leg configuration now gain access to the 'tail swipe' combat move.
  • Body:
    • Added ROUGH as a covering modifier.
      Added TAPERED as a tongue modifier.
      Added REPTILIAN and AMPHIBIAN foot types.
      Added BodyPartTags TORSO_DORSAL_FIN, TAIL_TYPE_SCALES, THERMAL_VISION, and ALLOWS_FLIGHT.
  • Sex:
    • NPCs now have the chance to decide to initiate penetration using a clitoris that's large enough to act as a pseudo-penis.
  • Bugs:
    • Fixed bug where characters of a modded race would show as 'human' after loading a game.
      Fixed non-centred alignment and uneven circle dimensions of race & item backgrounds.
      Encyclopedia information for modded races should now load and display correctly.
      Fixed issue with the tile's default dialogue being shown alongside the intended dialogue when refusing a partner's offer of sex in the nightclub.
      Fixed issue where declining sex in a nightclub partner's apartment would lead into the nightclub's toilets dialogue instead of Dominion boulevard dialogue.
      The game no longer autosaves when following or taking a nightclub partner home, as loading the autosave which was generated at that point would result in that NPC being unintentionally deleted. Instead the autosave is generated after leaving the partner.
      Fixed bug where nightclub partners would not be saved if you followed them home and then refused sex, despite the tooltip indicating otherwise.
      Fixed huge amount of background errors being thrown whenever you changed any of your furry preferences (which was causing that preference screen to lag a lot).
      Fixed issue with race books not showing up in the library.
      Added handling for automatic birthing of nipple-incubation eggs when a character transforms into a feral form which lacks breasts.
      Fixed issue where litters birthed by NPCs would always have the same birth date as their conception date.
      Fixed issue where background errors would be thrown if a generic sex event generated a half-demon character.
      Fixed issue where NPCs with eggs implanted in them would never lay the eggs if you saved & loaded the game while they were in the 'completed' stage of incubation.
      Removed incorrect reference to going to consulting Lilaya when having eggs implanted inside of you, and replaced it with a hint on having to access your phone's menu in order to lay them.
      Enchanting the item 'Biojuice Canister' now correctly gives you just the option to create a slime-reversion elixir, instead of the full racial options that other standard racial TF items have access to.
      Fixed image position and alignment in combat move tooltips.
      Fixed issue where milking pumps and spider webbing seals could spawn as generic clothing on randomly-generated NPCs.
      Fixed spotted & striped hyenas not having correct plural names for their feral forms.
      Fixed issue where TF potions with a TF type that's been removed from the game would throw background errors when trying to use it.
      Fixed parsing errors when eating the hyena food item 'Bone Crunchers'.
      Fixed reference to feral characters having feet when they had a tail lower body type.
      Fixed a couple of issues that were causing modded status effects to not work.
      Fixed issue where loading a previously saved game would sometimes show parsing errors on the initial dialogue page (for example, in the entrance tile to Slaver Alley).
      Fixed spam of warnings about getFeralAttributes() returning null every time you loaded the game as a feral character.

    Version 0.3.10 Progress Update

    Hello,

    I'm really sorry once again for how long it's taking me to get this next update out, as well as for my poor communication.

    I've finally finished the race code refactoring today, and as such, I've pushed my progress to github if you'd like to build it and see what's changed. I'm going to stick to my original plan of making the next public release v0.4, which will include Foloi Fields content and some other things.

    The vast majority of this update is engine work, so if you do decide to build it, there isn't much new content to see from a player's perspective. The work that's been done over the past few months is so that I won't need to go back and touch the race code again (outside of bug fixes and small tweaks), so I can add races and related content with ease all the way until the game's completion.

    Now that this large refactor is out of the way, the updates should return to a more regular schedule, and I'll also make more frequent progress news posts. I am planning on having the full public version of 0.4 released by the end of this year, which will include new content for you to play through.

    I'm sorry once again for how long this update is taking, but it won't be too much longer before v0.4 is released now.

  • Engine:
    • Added modding support for items to be defined as being able to be enchanted into new items, and support for a background to be added to item images, as well as size and rotation definitions. (See 'res/items/innoxia/race/horse_equine_cider.xml' for an example.)
      Added support for nesting folders inside mod folders (so mod makers can more easily categorise mod files within their directories).
      Improved performance of status effect conditional checks, which should have considerably improved the time it takes to end a turn in games with many saved NPCs.
      Added 'tags' field to status effect modding, allowing (some) ItemTags and their effects to be applied to modded status effects. (See the 'res/mods/innoxia/statusEffects/set_template.xml' file for an example.)
      Added parsing commands for clitoris diameter and circumference.
      Improved handling of body covering types in the code.
      Added full mechanics support for all other leg configuration types (serpent-tail, fish-tail, arachnid, cephalopod, avian). You can test these lower body types by using the debug TF menu to give yourself the demonic leg types which support this.
      Added 'aquatic' race definition and land/water tile definitions, so that aquatic races have beneficial/detrimental status effects applied when they are in a water/land tile respectively. Tile land/water status and danger status is now displayed at the top-right of the UI.
      Added full support for spinnerets, which will be granted by spider tails and spider 'arachnid' leg configurations. Spinnerets can be used as sexual orifices, and also grant several web-spinning sex actions, along with a special combat move.
      Added full support for penises and clitorises to be ovipositors, by means of giving them a modifier (via TF potion or self-TF menu). Characters with an egg-laying vagina which has been impregnated can use an ovipositor penis/clit to lay the fertilised eggs in vaginas, anuses, nipples, and mouths.
      Cephalopod lower bodies now support tentacles as penetrative objects (like tails) and grant a special combat move.
      Added support for combat move modding. (See 'res/mods/innoxia/combatMove' and 'res/combatMove' for examples.)
      Added support for fully-feral bodies. (There is currently no way to obtain a feral body, but the underlying code is ready for future content.)
      Added full support for race modding. (See 'res/mods/innoxia/race' for an example.)
  • Gameplay:
    • Added 'darkness' mechanic. Darkness status effect gets applied when a character is located in a map tile which is not illuminated. This status effect can be negated by having animal morph eyes which grant night vision, bat ears (which grant echo location), a body made of fire, mastery of fire spells, or an equipped piece of clothing/weapon which counteracts darkness (night vision goggles or the flashlight).
      Increased upper cap of base unarmed damage from 20 to 50.
      Added 'hyena' race with 'spotted hyena' and 'striped hyena' as its two subspecies. Added related 'Bone Crushers' food item and 'Workout Power' drink item.
  • Items:
    • Added weapon: 'Flashlight'. Sold by Ralph, illuminates dark areas when equipped.
      Improved icons for all racial attribute drinks (such as Equine Cider, Canine Crush, Wolf Whiskey, etc.), and moved all of them out from the code into the external 'res/items/innoxia/race' folder.
      Moved all racial food items out from the code into the external 'res/items/innoxia/race' folder.
      The 'Angel's Tears' item has been considerably buffed and can no longer be naturally found in-game (it will be added back into the game later on).
      Made 'tabi socks' unisex.
      Most racial transformative food items now additionally restore 10% health when consumed.
  • Body:
    • Added a transformable value for tail length, expressed as a percentage of the tail owner's height (minimum value is 5%, maximum is 250%). It can be modified via the self-transformation menu (for demons or slimes), or via a new potion enchantment option.
      If a tail's girth is the same as the default value for its type, then changing the tail type will reset the girth to the new tail's default girth. The same happens with tail length.
      Alligator-morph body hair is now coarse hair (the same as their head hair). It is always absent on alligator-morphs by default if you have your 'Scaly Hair' option off.
      Added more options to change the colour of your elemental's body coverings.
      Fixed issue where face type would always use the same covering as torso type.
      Increased maximum breast and crotch-boob row counts from 5 to 6.
      Slightly adjusted clitoris size category values to make them mroe in-line with penis size values, and reduced maximum length from 125cm to 100cm (so that it's the same as penis length).
  • Sex:
    • Fixed several parsing errors and incorrect descriptions of several sex actions (mainly tail-asshole and tail-vagina actions).
  • Other:
    • Ralph now sells modded weapons which have been given the tag 'SOLD_BY_RALPH'.
      Slaves now enjoy the prostitute job if they have the 'nymphomanic' trait active, instead of if they have the cum addict fetish.
      The cum-inflation status effects for a character's breasts are now triggered by either breasts or crotch-boobs being inflated by cum.
      Horn adn wing types will no longer have random ordering in the self-TF menu's options.
  • Bugs:
    • Fixed issue where using the 'Quit' button in the main menu would sometimes fail to close the game's background java process.
      Fixed bug where summoning your elemental for the first time in a new game wouldn't work.
      Taking a thorough shower in your room's bathroom now correctly applies the 'Recently showered' status effect.
      Fixed bug in conditional parser where identical if statements that each return 'true' would return the last encountered block instead of the first.
      Elementals now correctly return to their passive form after successfully escaping from combat.
      Hair clothing is now correctly unequipped when hair length is set to 0.
      In the 'Witch's Seal' sex scene with cultists, the character who is sealed can no longer use orgasm-locking actions (i.e. 'leg-lock', 'hug-lock', etc.).
      Fixed issue with some NPCs spawning with metallic-coloured shirts.
      Fixed issue where tail length decrease button would continue to work when greyed-out.
      Orgasm actions which direct cum onto a partner's groin will now correctly dirty their vagina/penis inventory slots.
      Fixed issue with 'hoof-kick' attack's critical hit logic not working correctly.
      'Martial artist' perk now correctly increases base unarmed damage, instead of modifying the damage in the same manner as the 'unarmed damage' attribute's calculation.

    More Progress News

    Hello again,

    This is just a small post to let you all know that I'm still working on the race refactoring and modding support. It's taking me a lot longer to get implemented than I'd initially planned, but there really isn't too much left for me to do now. I'm hoping to have something ready to push to github by the end of this week or the start of the next one. After that, I'll spend a week or so adding some Fields content before making a public release of v0.4.

    Once again, I'm sorry for how long this is taking me to get done.

    Progress news

    Hello again,

    This is just another small post to let you know how things are going.

    I'm continuing to work on adding race modding support, and to this end, I've just finished all of the refactoring and expansion of the game's race code. This should now support all of the features I had originally planned for races/subspecies, and should not need to be worked on again in any significant manner all the way up to the game's completion. As part of this work, the different leg configurations (snake-tail, fish-tail, arachnid, and cephalapod) have been given full support, so races such as lamia, mermaids, arachnae, and octopus-morphs will be able to be added without any more work needing to be done.

    Now that all of the expansion of the race code has been completed, I just need to add combat move modding and the race/subspecies xml framework so that races can be added via external files (which is what will allow modding). I'll get a preview version released as soon as this is complete, and will then make a full public release soon after with some Fields content.

    I'm really sorry once again for how long this is all taking, but it shouldn't be too much longer until it's completed now.

    Progress news (delay)

    Hello again,

    I'm sorry about how long it's been since making the last post here, and also for the fact that I'm having to announce another delay to v0.4. I haven't been feeling 100% over the past few weeks, which has slowed down my rate of progress by quite a considerable amount. I'm starting to feel better now, though, so I'll be able to resume work on this next version and hopefully have something ready for you in a couple of weeks.

    There's not really much else for me to say here, other than I'll try to make another post to let you know how things are going some time next week.

    Progress News

    Hello again,

    This is just another small post to let you all know how things are progressing towards v0.4.

    I've managed to get most of the necessary race code refactoring finished, and now only have a few more things left to do in order to get race modding support added. I was hoping to have v0.4 out by the end of this week, but I'm going to delay it by another week or two so that I can add Fields content and the next stage of the main quest to it (as I did promise to do that for v0.4 after all).

    Once I've got the race modding finished, I'll most likely push it to github and put together a small SubscribeStar update (v0.3.10 or something) so that the race modding can be played with a bit. The full public release of v0.4 will then be out at the earliest on the 9th October.

    Sorry for how long this is taking me to get done, but as I wanted to add new races to the Fields area, and the race modding includes refactoring that I wanted to get done before adding any new races, this work needs to be done before I can get Fields content added.

    Progress News

    Hello again,

    This is just a small post to keep you all updated on how things are progressing and what's left for me to get done for v0.4's release.

    As you most likely already know, I'm currently working on adding support for race modding. This isn't just so that modders will be able to add new races, however, as I'm using this time to completely finish off all of the remaining framework that I'll need for all future race support.

    So far, I've managed to implement support for racial items (equine cider, bread roll, etc.) to be added via modding, and have moved all of the current racial food and drink items out into external xml files as part of this. I've also added tail length modifications, which is one of the last features which were missing from the game's transformation options (along with the ability to grow a second penis, but that might have to be added at a later date).

    What I'm going to be focusing on over the next few days is adding full in-game support (mainly sex positioning, clothing detection, and status effects) for the other leg configurations: long tail (lamia); short tail (mermaid); arachnid (arachne); cephalopod (octopus). I'll then be adding support for modded combat moves (so modded races can have unique moves), and definitions for aquatic/nocturnal races (to automatically give relevant status effects when in water/on land and in light/dark areas). I'll then finally add support for ferals, although it's not likely that they'll be fully functional in v0.4.

    After all of those final racial improvements have been implemented, I'll move on to adding support for xml-defined races, subspecies, and body parts. Over the last few months, I've been refactoring the way in which body parts are defined in the code, so it shouldn't take me too long to get this done.

    Finally, I'll add a new modded race as an example (hyenas), and then I'll get v0.4 released. I really want to get this out to you as soon as possible, so I'll leave the planned Fields and main quest content for the version after v0.4.

    Version 0.3.9.9 Release

    Hello again,

    I'm sorry about the lack of communication since the last update, and for the fact that I haven't managed to get more than these bugfixes done for this version. I've struggled a little over the past couple of weeks to get the promised content for v0.4 done (race modding and Fields content), but I'll do my best to get it finished off and released as an addition to this version as soon as possible (hopefully within the next week or so).

  • Gameplay:
    • Starting Claire's teleportation side-quest now requires you to have first completed the 'Slime Queen' side quest. (As I felt as though it was a little out of character for the Enforcers to let a stranger see the teleportation pads.)
  • Items:
    • (For Clothing Modding) If multiple stickers in one sticker category are set to be the default sticker, one of these default stickers is now chosen at random to be used for an item of clothing, instead of always the last defined default sticker.
      Made the shoulder strap on the 'ragged chest wrap' a sticker option.

    Version 0.3.9.8 Progress Update

    Hello again,

    Sorry that this progress update took me a little longer to get finished than I'd originally planned; implementing the new clothing 'sticker' system ended up pushing the work on the new character/quest back a little, and then the writing for that character again took me longer than I expected.

    Anyway, this version is mainly focused on getting the aforementioned character and quest released, which was part of my original plan for the previous preview version. I don't want to spoil too much of that content, so I'll just say that it's related to the Enforcers, and by completing it, you'll gain the ability to legitimately purchase some Enforcer gear and weapons. The character(s)/quest was designed by DSG, and has been planned for inclusion for quite some time, which is why I was so keen on getting this done before v0.4. (The conditions for the quest starting are in the patch notes below.)

    As well as the new character/quest and the clothing sticker system support, there are a lot of contributor bug fixes and updates to DSG's Enforcer clothing in this version. I've fixed some bugs myself, but there are still a lot of reported bugs from the last couple of versions which I haven't yet had time to fix.

    After this release, I'm planning on fixing all of those bugs, implementing race modding support, and then adding some content to the Fields area. That will most likely include the next stage of the main quest, as well as some random encounters for the fields & river tiles.

    I will do my very best to have v0.4 out by the 18th of September. I know that that's 10 days later than my previous target, and I'm sorry for having to push it back so far, but I fear that the race modding support may end up being quite complex to implement, and so I really can't see v0.4 being ready sooner than the 18th.

    I'll do my very best to make v0.4 worth the wait, and thank you all once again for all of your feedback and bug reports in the comments. I'm aiming to make the next progress post some time around the middle of this next week, so I'll see you all again then!

      Enforcers in the 'alleyway Enforcer encounters' will now confiscate illegal items, and arrest you if they find that you're carrying highly illegal items.
  • Items:
    • Added sticker support to the 'rental mommy' and 'rental daddy' T-shirts.
      'Biojuice Canisters' and 'Glowing Mushrooms' are now tagged as restricted items.

    Progress towards v0.3.9.5

    Hello once again,

    I just wanted to make this small post to keep you updated on how things are progressing on the preview patch of v0.3.9.5.

    I had hoped to have it ready by tonight, but implementing a new clothing feature (defining 'stickers' to alter their appearance) took me a little longer than I'd planned. I've got all of the framework for the new character finished, and have also completely added the support for the aforementioned clothing feature, so all that's left for me to do is to get the writing finished off. I expect to be done with that in a few days, at which point I'll push what I've got to github and make another progress post here.

    This small delay shouldn't affect the public release date of v0.4 too much, although it may be out just a few days later than my previous target of September 8th. I'll give you a better estimate on when it will be out when I make the v0.3.9.5 progress update post (in a few days' time).

    Version 0.3.9.4 Progress Update

    Hello again,

    As mentioned in the previous post, I've managed to get the vast majority of bugs reported in v0.3.9.1 fixed for this preview version, and have also (finally) finished off the last placeholders related to the Rat Warrens content. I feel as though there are still some parts of that which could do with some polish, but I think I'll leave that until a later version.

    I've also added support for (basic) item modding in this version, and I've got a lot of background work done for the character which I'm planning on adding as the last piece of Dominion content before v0.4. I haven't quite got that into a state that's ready for full inclusion into the game, so I've decided to call this release v0.3.9.4, and will release the content for this new character by the end of the week as part of an updated preview version of v0.3.9.5.

    I'm also planning on getting a few more small things finished off for that updated preview version, which will leave me with just Shadow/Silence content as the one thing that I haven't managed to get added in time. I'll most likely push that back to a later version instead of delaying the release any further, as I know that the vast majority of you are eager to finally move on to the Fields content.

    Anyway, this extra time I'm taking to get v0.3.9.5 finished off won't hold the public version of v0.4 back by much, as I'm still planning on getting that released within a couple of weeks from now (hopefully around the 8th September). I'll make another post here when I push the updated version of v0.3.9.5 to the github, which will definitely be done by Sunday.

      The 'American tourist' occupation now only parses the main dialogue screen when converting spelling to American English (as it was causing some lag when trying to parse everything).
      Elementals are now always treated as having all their body parts pierced (due to their transformative abilities).
      Split up Elemental dialogue into 'Interactions' and 'Management' tabs, and added a management option 'Self-clean' to set whether or not your elemental automatically cleans dirty fluids from their body/clothes (enabled by default).
      Elementals now spawn at maximum affection towards their summoner (this will be retroactively applied to your Elemental when loading into this version).
      NPCs who do not have the martial artist perk and who have a main weapon equipped and no offhand weapon equipped will now be far less likely to use the 'offhand strike' attack.
      The SWORD Enforcers in the Enforcer Warehouse (in Claire's teleportation quest) now prefer to attack in combat rather than teasing.
      If you have anal content disabled, the 'buttslut' fetish is no longer a requirement for unlocking the 'lusty maiden' fetish.

      Fixed issue where slaves generating background sex interaction events would throw background errors if you were in a sex scene at the time they were generated.
      Fixed bug where exiting Dominion locations (such as the City Hall or Enforcer HQ) during an arcane storm would spawn persistent characters on your tile without offering you any interactions with them.
      Upgrading a room into the spa from the Office's 'Occupancy ledger' will no longer place the 'under construction' tile next to the office instead of next to the spa tile.
      Fixed bug where your elemental was being affected by the 'Blinded by Freedom' status effect (from the silly mode's 'American Tourist' background perk).
      Fixed bug where the 'Localised Storm' upgrade for the 'Arcane Cloud' spell would not apply lust damage to the character affected by it.
      Fixed strawberry and blueberry fluid flavour using plural descriptions where all other flavours were singular.

    Progress News

    Hello again,

    I just wanted to make this small post to let you all know how things are going and what I've managed to get done this week.

    I've managed to get all of the reported bugs fixed, and have (finally!) finished off the last few placeholders left in the Rat Warrens. I've definitely learned a few lessons from that area (such as not trying to add so many characters and routes to one quest/area), and I won't put myself in the same sort of situation in the future.

    I've also managed to get support for item modding added, and while it doesn't support definitions of enchanting items into other items, the modding framework should be enough to make any sort of basic item. I'll come back and expand this framework in the future, but I didn't want to get bogged down in it when v0.4 is so close.

    So, to look back at the list I made in the previous post and cross off what's done:

    Progress towards v0.3.9.5
    - Fix all bugs reported in v0.3.9.1
    - Finish off last few placeholders for the Rat Warrens
    - Add (small amount of) Shadow/Silence content
    - Add some last few (very small) pieces of content that I had planned

    I should be able to get the 'last character' added over the weekend, and I'll try my best to get Shadow/Silence content added, but I might end up pushing that back into a later version (instead of delaying this release). I'm still aiming for the preview of v0.3.9.5 to be released on the night of the 25th, so I'll see you again then!

    Plan for v0.4

    Hello again,

    I just wanted to make this small post to let you know what my plans are for the next few weeks ahead. As mentioned in my previous post, the next release will be the preview version of v0.3.9.5, and then after that I'll move on to getting things ready for the public release of v0.4.

    I took a few days off after releasing v0.3.9.1 to get some rest, so due to that, these next releases will be out a few days later than I'd originally planned.


    Plan for v0.3.9.5
    - Fix all bugs reported in v0.3.9.1
    - Finish off last few placeholders for the Rat Warrens
    - Add (small amount of) Shadow/Silence content
    - Add some last few (very small) pieces of content that I had planned
    - Add item modding
    - Add one last character (which has been planned for a while)

    I'm hoping to have all of this done by the 24th or 25th of August.


    Plan for v0.4
    - Fix bugs
    - Add race modding
    - Add Fields encounters
    - Add next stage of the main quest

    I'm planning on getting this done within the two weeks after v0.3.9.5's release, so it will likely be released in the first week of September or so.

    Version 0.3.9.1 Hotfix Release

    Hello again,

    Sorry about how long it's taken me to get this hotfix out; although the two major bugs were quickly fixed (perk trees and slave jobs not working), I wanted to try and get all of the reported issues in v0.3.9 addressed before releasing this. I'm pretty sure that I've caught all but maybe one or two small bugs, so this hotfix should be a lot more playable than v0.3.9 was.

    Anyway, beside fixing bugs, I've also re-enabled the ability to start Axel's quest (the dreaded Rat Warrens quest), as most of the content for it has now been finished. There are still some placeholders in it (including all of the post-quest Vengar and Murk content in the Gambling Den), and I haven't had time to thoroughly test it, but it *should* be entirely functional. I will get it 100% finished and polished for the next version, so if you'd like to wait until it's completely finished before trying it out, then you'll only have to wait for the next update.

    As part of the Rat Warrens content, I've included the game's first 'bad end'. I'm only planning on adding these into the game where I think that it would make no narrative sense for your character to escape from a situation. As a reminder, there is a toggle for bad end content in your content settings.

    Moving on, the next release will be the preview of v0.3.9.5, which will be focused on finishing off any half-finished content left in Dominion/Submission. After that, the public release of v0.4 will (finally) include some new content in the Fields, and from then on I'll be advancing the main quest and adding content alongside that.

    Thank you all for being so patient with me for so long; I know that it's been frustrating to have been stuck at this stage of the main quest for so long...

      Losing to Vengar now leads into the same Murk content as losing to one of the generic gang fights.

      Companions now always escape after losing to any fight which leads into Murk or Vengar captivity.
      Reduced size of hostile rat gangs from 6 to 4.
      Fixed issue where if non-consent content was disabled, the Rat Warrens would enter into a bugged state if you lost combat and were thrown out.

    Version 0.3.9 Release

    Hello again,

    I'm so sorry for how long it's taken me to release this version. I got tied up with adding some new content for the Rat Warrens, and then with the spa content and Elemental rework, and everything just seemed to keep on going wrong throughout the whole thing.

    Unfortunately, at the last minute I've found a couple more issues which really need to be addressed in the Rat Warrens content, so I've left the ability to start that quest disabled for now (and you should not continue with the quest if you've already started it on your save). The Elemental rework and spa content should be working, however, so at least there are a couple of new things to see in this version.

    Finally, I haven't managed to address all of the reported bugs in v0.3.8.9, so there is a high likelihood that this version will be a little buggy. I'll do my best to get a hotfix out as soon as possible (hopefully by the end of the weekend).

    Sorry again for how much of a disaster this version has been. It seems as though whenever I work on the Rat Warrens, everything goes wrong...

      Elementals now have an active and passive form. They assume their passive form when out of combat/sex.
      You can initiate dialogue with your elemental via an action in your phone screen, or by clicking on their name at the bottom of their sumoner's character info.
      Fully added several interaction options with your elemental in their interaction screen.
  • Balance:
    • The 'martial artist' perk now doubles base unarmed damage instead of tripling it. It additionally grants +25% critical power.
      'Potion effects' are now limited to a maximum value of 25 per attribute. The 'Chef' background doubles this limit to 50.
  • Items:
    • Added 'Breast pumps', 'Cock pump', and 'Pussy pump' clothing items. These are not available to buy anywhere, and are instead automatically equipped onto slaves who are being milked.
      Changed essence icons to be automatically generated from subspecies data.
      'Angels Tears' have been replaced by 'Bread Roll' as the human transformative food item.
      'Angels Tears' is now a non-racial consumable which lowers lust when drunk.
  • Sex:
    • Characters can now grope the breasts of someone locked in the milking stocks while fucking them from behind.
      All characters now produce girlcum as an ingestable fluid when orgasming, but characters who are squirters produce 5 times as much.
      When having sex with milker slaves in a milking room, for as long as you leave the milking pumps attached to the milker's breasts/cock/pussy, their produced fluids during sex will be added to the room's storage.

      Fixed issue with unique NPC slaves removing sex toys after they've been equipped during sex.
      NPCs now correctly replace their dirtied clothing after sex instead of leaving it lying on the floor.

    Small Delay

    Once again, I've ended up not quite managing to get everything ready for a release in time, so I'm going to have to delay v0.3.9 by a couple more days. I'm now aiming to have it ready by the night of Saturday, 25th.

    The main reason for this delay is that it took me a little longer than expected to get the Rat Warrens finished off, and so I've run out of time in which to get things polished and tested. I could have potentially released this version tonight and then made a hotfix for it, but I'm worried that there will be some major bugs in the parts of the Rat Warrens content which I haven't been able to test yet. Instead of subjecting you to this buggy content, I thought it would be best if I gave myself a few more days in which to make sure that it's all working as intended.

    I'm sorry about this delay, and for the short notice of it. I'll definitely be able to get this all ready by Saturday, so there really shouldn't be any further delay to v0.3.9's release.

    Progress News

    Hello once again,

    I just wanted to make this small post to let you know that things are progressing relatively well, and that the planned release of v0.3.9 will still be on the night of this Wednesday, 22nd.

    What you can expect in this update will be the finished version of the Rat Warrens, bug fixes, an update to the summonable-Elemental mechanics, and the spa room upgrade to be added. There are still quite a few other things which I'd like to get added, but I'll roll those into v0.3.9.5, after which I'll (finally) get started on adding the Fields content in v0.4.

    Version 0.3.8.9 Release

    Hello again,

    Here's the public update which I said I'd get released today. While it should be mostly stable, I ran out of time in which to do some thorough testing, which, combined with the fact that the Rat Warrens are still in a state of 'under construction', means that I've decided to label this version as v0.3.8.9 instead of v0.3.9.

    There will be a further public update this time next week (Wednesday, 22nd) which will get all of the loose ends and bugs sorted out. Sorry about this version not including the finished Rat Warrens content as promised, but I decided to do a big rework of parts of it, and so it's taking a little longer than expected to get completed. It will definitely be finished by v0.3.9 (along with the 'spa' room upgrade content and the Elemental rework)!

    I also want to make a separate note to say that I've temporarily disabled the ability to start Axel's quest (the Rat Warrens quest) in this version, as large parts of it are under construction. It will be re-enabled in v0.3.9 with all of the content completely finished.

    Also, I apologise for not giving a progress update last Thursday. Although I pushed my progress to github, making the post completely slipped my mind...
    I'll try and do better next time and make a progress update post this Saturday (18th) to let you know how things are going.

    • Characters are now only vulnerable to arcane storms and combat loss at maximum lust while they have the 'arcane impotence' status effect. (i.e. Only if their arcane stat is less than 10.)
      The chance for an Enforcer encounter to trigger in alleyway tiles has been increased from 2% to 2.5%.
      The 5 alleyway tiles closest to Dominion's Enforcer HQ now have a significantly higher chance of generating Enforcer encounters than normal alleyway tiles (15% instead of 2.5%), while also having a lesser chance of generating a generic attacker encounter (10% instead of 15%).
      Increased maximum shielding values from 100 to 500, and made it so that a value of 500 in any shielding category grants complete immunity from the related damage type. (Only used for fire and ice elementals being immune to fire/ice damage.)
      Removed the diminishing returns factor from all damage attributes and made it clear that these are referring to percentage increases wherever they're displayed (in tooltips and stats screen).
      The 'spell efficiency' attribute is now capped at 80 instead of 100, and all damage attributes have a lower cap of -80 instead of -100.
      Removed the 'cum quantity pregnancy modifier' from the game. (Now that cum quantity has a more direct impact of higher volumes staying in a character's orifices for longer, this modifier was no longer needed.)
      Slightly altered the pregnancy calculation to be: 10% + (Cum-character's Virility% / 2) + (Womb-character's Fertility% / 2)
      Randomly-spawned NPCs will no longer have the 'martial artist' trait.
  • Items:
    • Changed the 'pentagram piercing' rarity to 'common'.
      Improved description of 'Angel's Nectar' to correctly state that it removes intoxication and psychoactive effects. You can now also enchant it to create a potion that regenerates or removes hymens.
      There is no longer an arcane stat requirement for NPCs to absorb bottled essences.
  • Sex:
    • Added some flavour text for characters with the 'pure virgin' fetish (and who are either still vaginal virgins or have a regrown hymen) performing or receiving the 'pussy tease' sex action (with both penis or tail).
      Added some variation in the tail/penis-vagina penetration sex action descriptions for when the character being penetrated is still a virgin.
      'Stop ongoing' actions are now coloured differently than the 'start ongoing' actions.
  • Other:
    • You can now recolour human skin to any colour, just like with other covering types. (Humans will still only ever spawn with natural colours.)
      NPCs' 'home' icons on the minimap are now semi-transparent to make it clearer that they aren't actually there.
      Improved 'barren' and 'firing blanks' tooltip descriptions to make it clearer how those perks work.
      NPCs who are not your slave, elemental, or one of your friendly occupants will now automatically spend their perk points when they level up (via draining your levels or gaining experience from beating you in combat).
      When losing a level (from orgasmic level drain), characters now additionally lose a random perk if their perk points are reduced to below 0 in the process.
      The clothing & weapons sold by Finch, Nyan, Kate, and Vicky are now generated in stacks of 2-6 instead of just 1.
      Added some pet names for use in Amber's scene where she walks you and you run into her friend & their pet.
      Reduced the default capacity for several races' (reindeer, squirrel, rat, rabbit, and bat) vaginas, as they were still using values from before the penetration girth/depth rework.
      Enforcers who choose to give you a handjob after the strip search will now only finger your asshole at the same time if they have a positive desire towards the anal-giving fetish.
      Sex scenes no longer start with a spam of 'X area was already lubricated by Y' messages.
      Added more staircases to Lilaya's house.
      The 'begin slave interaction' actions in Lilaya's house are now coloured according to the slave's femininity.
      Added setting to enable bad ends in gameplay content option (on by default). (There are no bad ends in the game just yet, but I may start adding some alongside new content in the future.)

      Characters who have lost their vaginal virginity and then regown their hymen now correctly have their new hymen torn in situations where they should be losing their virginity.
      Fixed bug where the 'Defend yourself' action in the Enforcer encounter would be on every button instead of just one.
      NPCs who spawn with enchanted clothing/weapons that pushes them over their enchantment stability limit will now automatically take perks to give themselves more enchantment stability.
      Fixed issue where ingesting addictive fluids during sex would not display a message about the ingesting cahracter's addiction being satisfied.
      Fixed issue with the name of fluids not being parsed correctly in the tooltip for the addiction status effect.
      Formatting of attribute numbers in status effect tooltips no longer always has a trailing '.0'.
      Fixed issue with the flow of dialogue in Amber's 'Insult her' scene.

      Fixed issue where not all of the intended enslavement effects were applied when getting Enforcers to enslave a criminal for you. (i.e. They now correctly have their true name revealed and their starting obedience is set to -100.)
      Removing and regrowing a character's vagina now correctly regrows their hymen.
      The Slime Queen's bath and Pix's shower scene now correctly clean your body & clothes.
