Goals for 0.2.0

Hello again! :3

My goals for 0.2.0 are mainly just to finish off all the multiple-partner sex and combat mechanics that I've been working on for the last few versions. I want to get the game as bug-free as possible for this next version, as it's going to be the one which marks the end of major engine work. I'm also going to get Nyan's content added, as well as the final fluid mechanics. ^^

I also want to try moving my release day from Friday to a looser Wednesday/Thursday window, as lately I've been finding that the release times have been rolling over into the weekend, leaving me with almost no time for a rest. This means that the updates for 0.1.99.5 and 0.2.0 will be pushed to the 21st and 28th, respectively. I feel as though having a release date in the middle of the week will be a lot less stressful, and will give me time to push out a hotfix for Friday, if one is needed, instead of having to work over the weekend to get one done.

I can't make any promises that there will be a release this Wednesday/Thursday (i.e. tomorrow or the day after), but I will see what I can do. ^^


Goals for 0.2.0:

- Fix the final bugs in multiple-partner sex scenes and improve the AI to properly take into account desires.

- Add in missing content related to addictive/psychoactive/alcoholic fluids.

- Finish implementing combat & stats improvements.

- Add quest & content for Nyan.

- Fix as many bugs as possible.

    Also, out of curiosity , which framework do you used to build the GUI? I did some Java Programming here and there but mostly involve in Web.

      I use JavaFX to build the GUI (it's just a WebView which I write HTML content to). :3

  3. A few suggestions:

    Changing the body property of as a slime, such as taste, stickiness, texture, addiction and the sorts. Also ability to change sweat, tear, saliva and the sorts.

    Demonic lesser race with wings, horns, face, tongue, skin, and possibly face and leg. Also hoove/ high-heeled feet.

    Ability to track your children and make them more/ less aggressive. I would rather have an offspring a mugger than a prostitute, or maybe the opposite way around or get them actual work. Also would love being gang-banged.

    An ending which you go back to the old world and possibly corrupting the place.

    Marriage and loyalty related system and dis-loyalty fetishes.

    Role-playing. I mean the Dominion is pretty modern.

    Option to free slaves after training or grant them more freedom after they become sufficiently loyal and happy. Also chances of escaping and fight when either happiness or obedience becomes too low. Also a slave with the right fetish should enjoy being punished or used.

    A quest to make Rose free after seeing seeing the Lilin.

    Equipment enchantment such as auto pull-down/ unequip, and for general combat.

    1. At one point, I had a kid who was a mugger, though sometimes the dialogue would still use the prostitute's ones. Haven't checked lately though.

      As far as I know, the whole "return ending" isn't until 8.0+, and we just got into 2.0ish territory. Be patient, though don't expect it to be out for at least a few years (which at the rate Innoxia keeps adding more content, I don't mind).

      Marriage is definitely one I can go for. That is one thing that Free Cities has a clear edge over Lilith's Throne (to me at least), though it shouldn't be a stretch to say that may be implemented at some point.

      Those are some pretty good suggestions you mentioned. Guess we will have to wait and see if and when they get added, huh? ;)

  4. So after this, there won't be any more extreme combat/sex changes, like the stats that are used are set in stone? Fitness and intelligence won't be added back one day, no new ones will be added? All content from now on?

    1. No, but post 0.2.0 will likely be much more content focused. Since the combat stats overhaul is extremely new, any bugs with it or design flaws will need to be adjusted and redesigned as we move on...for instance, the strength stat is already planned to be re-designated with a different moniker that's more fitting it's role as a stat and I imagined the perk tree might see some things moved about in the future to balance things as needed.

      We'll still see bug-fixes and engine tweaks as needed and if needed, but 0.2.0 should be the final move to adding engine work meant to build up LD's foundation like it's been up to now.

    2. For combat, I don't see a need to add in any more stats than the current three of "Strength", Arcane, and Lust.

      Outside of combat you still need a way to represent a characters skills. So you'll probably basically see something along the lines of "Skill Perks" or perks that you can spend ability points on to unlock special actions or bonuses outside of combat like being "Stealthy" or "Lock-Picking" and "Alchemist" that would add a bonus to crafting potions for that last one.

    3. There might be *very* minor changes to some mechanics later on, but once I get to 0.2.0, I want to focus on adding content, not adding more mechanics. ^^

      As Roleplaying Anon says, there will be several perks added later on as substitutes to stats (such as "stealthy" or other similar things). ^^

  5. Been following your game for a while, you seem to be changing around how the combat system interacts with stats and fetishes. I think you should try looking into incorporating the mechanics of sex into combat with positioning and stuff so fetishes have varying effects and stuff. It could also change how they interact with you based on the position you/they are in after the fight.

    I'm not a good programmer or game designer, just an hobbyist. I'm not sure if it is even worth looking into or how much work it would take, but its just a thought. Keep doing what ever your doing! The game has only been getting better.

    1. That may be asking for a bit much right now, though your suggestion makes plenty of sense. I am not going to be surprised that what you stated actually will get added in, though that will likely be for another time. Stay hopeful though, who knows what else gets added in?

    2. I'm trying to get combat a little more integrated with sex with the addition of the lust gains during combat. Other than that, however, I don't know how much more I'll integrate the two. :(

  6. Fully agree with the point on earlier in the week releases. You've been burning on this full speed ahead for awhile and if you aren't going to grow to hate it its essential for you to at least have the weekend off with no need to rush hot fixes during it. Also congrats on reaching 3000

  7. Now that the health bar lasts a bit longer and that the inflation is in place, I think it would be appropriate to add basic self-interaction in the near future. Like dropping lust to acceptable values anywhere and getting rid of that inflated bulge. Would be logical to add that action to the dark alley node alongside the search option, and make it advance the time for a possibility of getting caught.

    2. That would be interesting, definitely would add more content and shouldn't take much to add in. Also its a good choice with it being limited to the alleys, though it should also be available inside the home manor as well (not the pertaining "getting caught" event [or maybe one in particular to while being in the manor?]).

      Not one for inflation per-say, though it would definitely add more substance to it.

    Jokes aside I am really liking these recent updates since 1.98.1, epecially with fetishes that gain experience and that health/energy got some refining. Really liking the whole likes/dislikes implementation too.

  10. So is sexual stamina not going to be a thing any more? Also, is getting a non-con to change to normal or eager pace from resisting going to have special post-sex dialogue?

    1. I decided to remove sexual stamina, as I felt as though the sex mechanics were getting a little too cluttered/messy. :(

      I will definitely add more content for switching someone from non-con to willing later on as well. :3

  11. There seems to be some bug with the Harpy Matriarchs, even though they're supposed to be level 5 or 6, their stats are more like level 1 NPCs, so they only have 20-30 HP and 10 Aura, making them super easy to defeat in combat.

    2. I just thought I got so strong, that I was torching them no prob.

      ...until I realized I one-shotted them as a level 9~13.
      Even as a harpy, they shouldn't go down to one fireball THAT easily. :/ Well, I guess I did stack skills favoring 2/3 aura-based, but still!

      That makes one think about how things are going to be balanced going forwards. I mean, Zaranix is supposed to be a fairly powerful demon, right? But you beat him while still in the city. When we leave for the fields, will we be running into level 25 cows who are inexplicably more powerful than demons, despite the previous implication that demons are more powerful than morphs?

  13. Had an idea. Pain threshholds. Do it too rough and they'll want to leave you, lose interest in you. Possibly a chance they will get back up and initiate combat. Do it toosoft and they can also lose interest. Learn your partner, and they will learn you. You do not have to have any blood descriptions, but you could add pain description. NO GURO! Do it right, and they may even give you a gift.


    This feature would add more realistic life into play. It'll be fun for both submissive and dominant alike. Adding a little of the rapey feel, it'll help add more content to it, without going to far. Besides, you could just re-initiate combat, without changing description. Well, maybe a few, but nothing severe. For those who want a bunch of women to be yours, this is a little achievement game you can play. How many did you lose. How many did you win?



    I would highly recommend that this content would be enabled/disable by a switch. Like the non-consented stuff.

    1. Thank you for the suggestion! At the moment, I feel as though the amount of mechanics in the game are getting to the point where it's a little overwhelming, so if I were to add something like this it would probably be a little later on when I get the time to make sure it can fit in well. ^^

  15. Hello.
    I have maybe dumb question but i need to get it off my mind.
    Are theese charaters artwork going to be added into game, is there going to be other character visualization then text only? I know this supposed to be text game but its good one so its kind of sad to leave it like this.
    I bet pictures would attract more players. Ok so this is my question/suggestion, and thanks for your work.

      I’ve been having a go at writing a program to generate pictures from character files, but I’m hindered by the fact that I’m not an artist, so the results look kind of crappy. I suppose I could post it online if people want to see it, although I’m a bit embarrassed about it to be honest.
